Overview
Spectra Training's Print Appreticeship's are designed to deliver the formal training component of an Australian Apprenticeship in Printing. During the course, participants will learn to apply solutions to a range of industry related problems, encompassing different equipment, systems and processes, and to analyse and evaluate information from different sources.
Participants will learn how to practically implement this learning in the workplace, affording them the opportunity to upskill and cross skill by developing their knowledge in Printing, Digital Printing, Print Binding, Finishing and Packaging and Prepress Graphic Design Production.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This qualification applies to individuals working as a pre-media tradesperson. Typically they design and prepare layouts and artwork, manipulate images and text to meet production and design requirements and apply solutions to a defined range of problems associated with, and characteristic to, the print medium. They may also provide some leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. The Nationally accredited program is made up of 21 units that have been chosen by Spectra Training based on feedback from industry and our Subject Matter Experts.
